For my 16th birthday, which was back in April, I wanted to ask for donations for Make-A-Wish to go to another child’s wish. During such an uncertain time, I thought that it was not the right time to post a fundraiser but as wishes are still being granted I want to help contribute towards a wish. As a former wish kid and cancer survivor, Make-A-Wish made a major and positive impact on my journey through fighting childhood cancer. From last years fundraiser, I was able to participate in the Over the Edge experience that Make-A-Wish does every year to help raise money and participate in a send off party for a child’s wish. I have also given the opportunity to become an ambassador for Make-A-Wish like going to the gala, speaking to donors and many other opportunities. This year, I would love the opportunity to help sponsor a child’s wish. I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe and know that I appreciate everything!

I am raising funds and awareness for Make-A-Wish® Central & South Texas by joining 200 people on September 19th & 20th 2020, to go Over The Edge - literally!  Over The Edge challenges you to face your fears, catch your breath, step up to the edge and rappel from a downtown skyrise in the heart of Austin. The first 200 fundraisers to raise a minimum of $1,500 will earn a spot to go Over The Edge.

More than 500 children in central and south Texas are diagnosed each year with a critical medical condition. Last year, Make-A-Wish® Central & South Texas granted 309 wishes for local children. Research shows that a wish can give a child the mental and physical strength needed to fight their illness. You can help Make-A-Wish® reach more of these children and create hope, strength and joy in their lives. Money raised by rappellers goes towards granting these wishes.

You can also  rappel with me by signing up to go Over The Edge too!

I hope you can help me reach my goal and help make a difference in the lives of children who need it most!
