I am raising funds and awareness for Make-A-Wish® Central & South Texas by joining 150 people on June 5th, 2021, to go Over The Edge - literally! Over The Edge challenges you to face your fears, catch your breath, step up to the edge and rappel from a downtown skyrise in the heart of Austin. The first 150 fundraisers to raise a minimum of $1,500 will earn a spot to go Over The Edge.
More than 500 children in central and south Texas are diagnosed each year with a critical medical condition. Last year, Make-A-Wish® Central & South Texas granted 309 wishes for local children. Research shows that a wish can give a child the mental and physical strength needed to fight their illness. You can help Make-A-Wish® reach more of these children and create hope, strength and joy in their lives. Money raised by rappellers goes towards granting these wishes.

I serve on the Board for Make A Wish South Texas in order to preserve the memory of my youngest daughter, McKenzie, who passed away way to early in life at the age of four. In the short span of her life she made a lasting impression on everyone she met. In 2008 we where able to go on a Make A Wish trip to Walt Disney World in Florida and she got to be a princess.
I want to be able to pay it forward and help other Children who are facing life threatening illnesses have their wishes granted as well.
