Riley's wish: To take a cooking class...in Paris.

My wish: That you'll help make a wish come true for hundreds of other kids like Riley.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Join me and my amazing daughter Riley in our goal to raise funds and awareness for Make-A-Wish┬« Central & South Texas.   On June 8th & 9th, 2019, I'll join hundreds of others to go Over The Edge - literally!  Over The Edge challenges you to face your fears, catch your breath, step up to the edge and rappel from the 32nd story of 600 Congress in the heart of downtown Austin.

More than 550 children in central and south Texas are diagnosed each year with a critical medical condition. Riley was one of those 550 kids when she was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2016.  Every kid facing serious health challenges needs as much hope and joy in their lives as possible to give them the strength they need to face their health challenges.

Last year, Make-A-Wish┬« Central & South Texas granted 309 wishes for local children.  That's right 309 wishes -- almost two-thirds of all the kids facing serious health problems in Central Texas!  Just think of how much hope and joy that has brought to kids who need it so much.  We have spent a lot of time over the past few years at Dell Children's Hospital in Austin and Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.  And we have seen so many kids who need hope and joy to get them through long days and nights in doctor's offices and hospitals.

This year, Riley will be one of those hundreds of kids whose wish will be granted.  Riley's wish -- to take a cooking class...in Paris!  Thanks to Make-A-Wish, that's what she'll be doing shortly after Over the Edge.

Making a wish come true for incredibly deserving kids isn't just a super nice thing to do.  Research shows that a wish can give a child the mental and physical strength needed to fight their illness. Your contribution doesn't just make kids happy...it also helps them fight and win their health battles.

Money raised by rappellers goes towards granting these wishes.  You can also rappel with me by signing up to go Over The Edge too!  For every $1,500 raised, a team can send another rappelled over the edge!

I hope you can help me reach my goal and help make a difference in the lives of children who need it most!
